Customer Reviews

We were a group of friends and family from South Africa (JNB and CPT); Germany; New Zealand and Scotland. Everyone enjoyed the evening tremendously. The Show was special and with the setting so intimate, we could truly feel the special message of SA unique history. Regarding the service. Staff friendly and humble. Quality of the buffet was excellent. The food was very good. If we can give one negative (suggestion) would be on the salad waiting on the table. This is a very good idea, but by the time we sat down the salad truly looked very sad and hanging, not appealing to eat anymore. Maybe the salad can be put on the tables just before the show actually starts. It will not distract if the staff silently move around the venue to put fresh looking salad down Otherwise truly special and I will certainly keep in mind to use for European market as well as UK and USA Thank you for allowing us to share in such a special night - Top Reizen - Hester Riddell

It was a very interesting, inspiring performance. Her artists came into very good contact with the audience and the movements are very impressive. The emotional singer: this is my live - was just heartbreaking. - Pavlos psomiadis

The transport, meal and venue were good. The sound system and mixing was not good and could have been better if it wasn't distorting from being so loud. Some very good voices and some bad voices but we accepted that as it was portrayed as a family. We really would have enjoyed some more of the history of District 6. I was born in RSA and knew it well but the rest of the group were Aussies and would have enjoyed hearing exactly why it occurred. Mention of the National Party, apartheid, the relocations, the anguish, whether the relocated are still friends, how families were destroyed, where they went, etc, etc. A personal touch would have improved the narrative. How did they live in District 6 ? Photos of the house, the relocation process with police would have been great. We thought there was too much of a reconcilation angle, whereas some more bitterness in the beginning would have improved the overall show. We did enjoy it ! - mark gedye
