Customer Reviews

I enjoyed the production of Kaapse Stories from the Mother City. It was very educational and entertaining. However I'm South African and well acquainted with the Cape Town "slang" that was used during the show. I think for Europeans, there needs to be more fine tuning done on the use of the english language, combined with the Afrikaans used. The food could be improved in adding more true Cape Malay Cuisine. Service was amazing! Very happy with my experience. - 2 Inn 1 Kensington Boutique Hotel - Byron Martin

On behalf of my parents I would like extend my gratitude to The Rockwell Dinner Theatre for their excellent service. The food was great and the extra effort shown to make their night more special was really appreciated. The performances were accurate and entertaining. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, and I will do just that. Thank you Darryn S. - Mr & Mrs Stevens

Thoroughly appreciated Benito attention to detail and service for our gro. Food delicious as usual. Show...incredible talent...a lititle too lous..missed some of the words...atmosphere great...on a personal level found no need for "Broadway" songs...missed the original Kaapse Stories presentation though understand that it's a forum to showcase the artists talent. For me...showcase our Kaapse musiek. The grp loved this experience...that's what counts though also felt it was too loud. Thanks for an amazing evenings entertainment. - DENVER TRAVEL GROUP - CANTOR JOEL LICHTERMAN

As a tour guide, having been to the show many times and enjoyed it, I thought I would take my family and friends along and take advantage of your special 2 for one offer. The old venue in Sea Point, which has now been demolished, was to my mind a much better venue. The food was up to the standard quality and taste, but was very cold which was disappointing. The acoustics in the venue are too loud, especially when the "car guard's" wife sang. The other "security guard's" version of Nessun Dorma is the highlight of the show. However my guests all had a good time. - Victor Lok

Quite a unique cultural experience. brilliant performances. - Bongani Moyo
